Hello! Welcome to Sunrise. Our “Easy Start” page is designed to answer basic questions and to help you get quickly acquainted with Sunrise Church.

What do we do? Sunday morning services are our central focus (10AM Sunday Morning) and we also have other activities. There are opportunities to meet new people, enjoy small group activities, expand your knowledge in short theological classes and study groups, and have great fellowship.

Our aim is to be contemporary, relevant and effective while maintaining a theology that is Biblically sound. Sunday morning services are designed to encourage you on your daily journey, reveal how practical the Scriptures are for daily living and help you to explore the promises of God.

We sponsor Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts and we have a growing youth ministry . Sunrise members are a diverse group of friends and neighbors coming together from Orange, Durham, and Alamance counties and points beyond.

Where? We are located at 1315 New Hope Trace, Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27516. We’re just off of Interstate 40 at exit 263, convenient to Hillsborough, Chapel Hill, Durham, and Mebane.
